Wow, wow, wow!! You made the most fabulous looking cake!!! And, I love the pictures and especially, especially the birthday Egypt poem, which I know is my new favorite poem in the whole world!! And, you draw fantastic camels!! You are the sweetest girl! I only wish I'd been at my own party to eat it and give you 10,000 hugs and kisses (and wear one of those fabulous hats!!). It looked like you guys had a lot of fun!
The day after my birthday here was pretty good. There was only a very little sandstorm and there was hot water in the showers (maybe the shower heard you scolding the cold). So that was good!
Tell me, how was your Thursday?? Any good stories from school or act (and does Uma go there now)?? You'll have to tell me about Liana's party on Saturday too. Ting wrote me to say it has a theme of being on Mars. Will you have to dress all in green, I wonder?
O.k. you. I will try to post some pictures, so wish me luck.
I love you, I love you, I love you!!

Ooops, it looks like it posted 500 pictures. Oh well. They are a reconstruction of the wall painting on one of the walls of the room of the villa where the people have the fancy outdoor seating area that I'm excavating. Then a picture (not so good) of me and my student Christine sitting at the outdoor seating (it used to be taller). Then, the last of the cookies my students made me. They were peanut butter cookies with chocolates and marshmallows, and they made their own peanut butter by mashing peanuts. And lastly a picture of me taken by me (as you request this sometimes).
I love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s. Tell me about your tooth!!

(I meant it is a reconstruction of a painting from a room in the same villa outside of which we're excavating, but that was a very complicated sentence for 12:37 a.m. I should go to bed!!
