How is that tooth of yours? Are you eating apples? And tell me about Paint your own Pottery and also about the science fair and about Liana's party. All these things I'm curious about... And, can you give yourself a big hug from me? I wish I was there to do it myself!!!
Well today was pretty fun in my excavation unit. We found lots of potsherds with writing on them (think ancient scrap paper) as well as coins and even part of an ancient sundial (a clock that keeps time by the sun and how long the shadows get. We also found three clay balls with marks from stamps having been pressed in them. They looked an awful lot like poop until you looked closely (which I'm glad I did!). So we were busy and hardly noticed as the day flew by. That was the most exciting part of the day, though, otherwise it has been paperwork and reading about ancient temples. Now, I should go to bed so that I can get up so early tomorrow. And you, you get to sleep in you lucky duck. I will post some pictures of the landscape here, though. I hope you like them.
