I love you so much, my dear! Thanks for getting Dada to write that nice note this morning. It was a pleasure to wake up to. Well, I want to tell you that if I was there I would give you 42,000 hugs. And then maybe 5 extras, just for good measure.
How was school today, cutie? What was your favorite class? And did anyone get in trouble or do anything funny? Tell!
Over here, we had a long day. We had class and then we went to an ancient town built about 2,000 years ago. Everyone moved out when the town got run over by a sand dune!! The houses there had really, really fancy wall paintings complete with hearts and little birds!! And at the site I'll be working at in a week or so the buildings had this fancy wall decoration too. My friend Dorthea is painting a replica of the paintings from our site and I'll show you a picture, just to see if you want Dada to paint that on the wall for us. I do! The town also had a god named Tutu who was part lion, part man, part snake, and often had knives coming out of his feet! (though not in the picture I'll post). Maybe he had to be that tough because he had a silly name like Tutu. His little short friend with the knife is pretty funny too, don't you think?
I love you....
